In the world there are many types of hamsters. The largest of them reach a weight of 400-450 grams, and the weight of the smallest representatives of the hamster genus does not exceed 10 grams.
All of them have developed cheek pouches where they hide their prey.
Some species of hamsters live in the mountains, at an altitude of up to 4 kilometers.
